The Heart Behind the Numbers…

Family has always been at the center of my life. I’ve been married for almost 40 years, and I live in Northeast Maryland with my husband and daughter. Walking through both joyful and difficult seasons has strengthened my resilience, compassion, and deep commitment to showing up consistently for the people who rely on me. Those values naturally carry into my work.

Before starting my bookkeeping business, I worked as a remote English teacher for young students, where I learned the importance of patience, clear communication, and steady guidance. I’ve always been someone who feels most at ease when things are organized and structured — clutter makes me uneasy, but clean systems bring calm. Bookkeeping allows me to create that same sense of order and clarity for others.

Balanced Harmony Bookkeeping was inspired in part by Harmony, our sweet dog, and by my belief that finances should feel steady, balanced, and manageable — not stressful.
